It has been over a month since I last posted anything. A lot has happened since then.
November 6th was the Marine Corps Ball. I drove down to Warner Robins where Joshua is stationed. The food was HORRIBLE this year. But the ceremony was nice as usual. I love how there is such rich tradition in the ball. This was our last ball, as Joshua will get out of the Marines in May. The battery in my camera died after I took one picture. So I don't have any pictures yet. We did pay to have our picture taken, and I will get that scanned soon.
The Monday before Thanksgiving I was sick, and at work. My mom called to tell me there was a problem with my wedding cake, 13 days before my wedding. I broke down, cause I felt like crap and didn't need to be having wedding problems. We fired the bakery and hired a new one the next day. That Tuesday I felt like death walking, and stayed home from work. I got some meds from the doc and was feeling better by Wed.
For Thanksgiving Joshua and I went to my aunt and uncles house to eat lunch. It was nice to spend time with family and just catch up. My cousins that live in TN came down, we hadn't seen them since last Thanksgiving. For dinner we ate at Joshua's parents house, with his side of the family. I was still stuffed from the first meal, but I still ate a little bit. After dinner Joshua and I went and picked out our first Christmas tree. It was fun decorating it and it looks so pretty!
This week we have been in wedding mode. I worked Mon-Wed, and have today and tomorrow off. Today I surprised my nieces and showed up at their school to eat lunch with them. So I didn't get anything done that i needed to. I have so much to get done before Sunday. Hopefully I will get it all done. I can't wait to get married and go on our honeymoon! It will be nice to get a break from the real world for a week!
