Our week

On Tuesday the 30th James and I travelled to Fort Knox so that I could do a jewelry show. We spent a few hours there, and then continued our drive to Fulton, KY.  This was James's first time going to see family in Fulton.  It takes a little over 5 hours to get there so stopping in Fort Knox worked out well.  James slept the whole way from Fort Knox to Fulton.  I decided that while we were there I would try to get him to "fall back". It worked! The time change today was easy!

I've always wanted to be on 3rd street for Halloween. My cousin that I was staying with lives on 3rd street as well as my 88 year old great aunt. The street gets shut down and TONS of kids come from all around to go house to house.  There were close to 1,000 kids this year. I only took one picture, it was so cold. James and I went inside early into the evening and stayed there till he went to bed.

On Nov. 1st James and I went to visit my great uncle Sam, it was his birthday. He turned a young 98!! He's a WWII Vet, and is the sweetest man I've ever met. We ate lunch with him, and then headed back to my cousins house for afternoon naps! My cousin cooked dinner for us every night which was awesome, and she had tons of goodies to munch on too!  If I had stayed any longer I would have gained 10lbs.

On the 2nd James and I went up to the nursing home to visit my cousin Wendell who is 77 and has cerebral palsy. My uncle Sam was actually up there visiting too, since Wendell is his son. It was nice to chat with them and just enjoy their company.  The little old ladies loved seeing James too. One crazy old lady was trying to get him out of his car seat and said she wanted to run away with him. LOL!  My little cousin Adam and his pregnant wife Kayla came over and we watched Magic Mike, which was stupid.

Saturday morning we ate breakfast and then got on the road home. I really love going to Fulton. It's a relaxing place for me. It was different since my grandparents recently moved from there back to GA, but I still enjoyed my time there.  I can't wait to go back in April once Kayla has baby Emma!

Once I can get pictures loaded I will share them.
