Ever since having James I have said I need to work out, but just haven't done it. I really think that if I were to get off the couch and start walking on the treadmill each day I would lose weight. I can seriously see the little gym at our apartment complex right now. It's not like I have to drive to the gym to work out.
I think that part of my problem is that last winter I was pregnant, and the winter before that I had just gotten married so I was much smaller than I am now. I have a couple of shirts and 2 pairs of pants that fit me right now. I need to lose about 30lbs in order to fit in the winter clothes that I currently own. It's easy to see how that would not motivate me.
I am looking for any advice on how to get motivated, and how to naturally lose weight without taking supplements.
I'm not ashamed to say that I currently weigh 237.8lbs. I weighed myself this morning. Right before the wedding December 5th, 2010 I weighed right about 210. While I know that weight is still more than I really need to be at, I think being back at what I was when we got married would be a good start.
December 23, 2010-what I would like to get to
Nov 1st, 2012-current weight
I am not much help with the motivation department...i hattttte working out. i did buy an elliptical from walmart and it works great! i just need to use it haha. I HAVE to follow some type of plan. That's why I did weight watchers, slim fast, and now advocare. I agree with you about the cost of it but it does WORK and like i told zach...would he rather me spend the money to do advocare so i can fit back in my old clothes or would he rather spend money for me to buy the bigger sized stuff??? I was in the same place as you...once i had britt i needed to wear an 8 and all of my stuff was too small. i didn't want to buy new clothes in a bigger size. that's so discouraging!!! i am doing the legit challenge in jan if you decide you wanna do it with me! we're gonna do a biggest loser type deal where the winner wins $100! I recommend getting a group together to do the challenge with you...not only will it help you stay motivated but it will also help you pay for your challenge since advocare pays for referrals ;)
